JOHN F. LAURO grew up in New York and later graduated from Georgetown
University in 1979, magna cum laude. While a college student, Mr. Lauro was
elected to a position as an Advisory Neighborhood Commissioner in the District
of Columbia. As an elected official, he focused most of his attention on the
development of the Georgetown waterfront and other constituent issues. He then
attended Georgetown University Law Center and graduated in 1982, magna cum
laude. While a law student, Mr. Lauro was an editor of the Georgetown University
Law Journal.
SCOTT J. FLINT
is a Senior Associate with the Lauro Law Firm. Mr. Flint was born in Kittery, Maine, but raised in
Florida. He graduated from Clearwater High School and enlisted in
the United States Air Force as a firefighter/EMT. He served four
years on active duty in Idaho before joining the Air Force Reserve's
37th Aeromedical Evacuation Group at MacDill AFB, Florida. After
serving as a medic in Desert Storm, he enrolled at Florida State
University, graduating summa cum laude with a dual degree in
Political Science and International Affairs. While attending
college, Mr. Flint joined the 919th Special Operations Wing at Eglin
AFB, Florida. With the 919th, he traveled to Central and South
America where he provided medical care to the people of Honduras. He
also lived for a month in a Quechua Indian village in Ecuador.
GUS M. CENTRONE is an Associate with the Lauro Law Firm. Mr.
Centrone was born in Miami and raised in Tampa, Florida. He attended the University of
South Florida in Tampa and graduated with honors with a B.A. in
political science. While a college student, Mr. Centrone was
President and founder of the U.S.F. Pre-Law Society and co-founded
the Mock Trial Team. Further, Mr. Centrone was active in political
campaigns, serving two presidential campaigns. After graduating
from U.S.F., Mr. Centrone attended Washington & Lee University
School of Law, graduating in 2006.
