Sara L. Alpert grew up in Tampa, Florida and attended The Johns Hopkins University, graduating in 2003 with a B.A. in Political Science. While in college, Ms. Alpert served as Vice President, Operations, of her sorority, Alpha Phi, played on the Hopkins tennis team, and ran the Baltimore Marathon.

Ms. Alpert graduated from University of Maryland School of Law where she served as an Articles Editor for the Law Journal of Race, Religion, Gender, & Class.

Prior to joining the Lauro Law Firm in 2009, Ms. Alpert was general counsel for JLM Industries, Inc., an international chemical trading and distribution company headquartered in Tampa, Florida. Ms. Alpert also completed a mini-MBA course for in-house counsel at the Boston University School of Management.
